Difference between jQuery Mobile and Bootstrap

jQuery Mobile Bootstrap
jQuery Mobile is developed by JQuery project group.Twitter bootstrap is developed by Mark Otto and Jacob Thornton from Twitter.
Purpose: The user interface of the jQuery mobile is a JavaScript library and it comprises (i) animations, (ii) widgets and (iii) a theme roller, which enables easy customization of the jQuery elements.Purpose: Twitter Bootstrap enables developing applications with the help of (i) HTML, (ii) CSS and (iii) JavaScript. Twitter bootstrap can be considered as a huge mass of CSS that enables raising projects faster and easier.
User interface performance: JQuery Mobile normally offers a greater performance than Twitter bootstrap. Especially JQuery performs well while utilizing sliders and drop down options in the project.User interface performance: Twitter Bootstrap offers average performance while comparing JQuery Mobile.
With Twitter bootstrap, if the sliders are used in a project, then it becomes difficult to drag them on mobiles.
The drop down menus developed with twitter bootstrap also offer poor performance on Android devices and iOS. The options present in the end of the menu become inaccessible, as the conventional menu UI (Twitter bootstrap) does not support scrolling.
Reactive design: JQuery Mobile does not offer an in-built supple grid arrangement. When the applications developed by JQuery are uploaded on the computer, they look similar to mobile apps.Reactive design: Twitter Bootstrap offers a better receptive design compared to JQuery Mobile. The supple grid system of Twitter Bootstrap is much easier to understand and they offer a great better performance. The apps developed with Twitter bootstrap work well both on mobiles and computers.
Customization: JQuery mobile is difficult when it comes to customization. JQuery Mobile requires a lot of effort to develop fresh themes. Also the already available themes on JQuery mobile are unexciting.Customization: Twitter Bootstrap is very simple to customize. Also Twitter bootstrap supports many 3rd party themes such as ‘Flat UI’.
Functionality: JQuery UI is mainly to provide pre-written devices using general functions. Also it is possible to theme and to incorporate the user interface of JQuery inside Twitter bootstrap.Functionality: Twitter bootstrap targets mainly on (i) design and appearance, and (ii) rational defaults. Twitter Bootstrap primarily offers a foundation for the users to develop a model rapidly at the front end.
